Powering Up for Powerman!
In just days, Hypercat athletes, Dan Crowley
and Rachel Sears, will take on the field at the 2nd running of Powerman
Tennessee.
Powerman Tennessee, conducted by race directors, Therese Bynum and Faye
Yates of Team-Magic, is on Sunday, May 5th and is a 7.5k run/50k bike/7.5k
run.
Age group and pro athletes alike will
compete for a place on Team USA for the ITU Duathlon Long Course World
Championships to be held on 8/18 in Weyer, Austria.
This will be Dan's 2nd duathlon of the
season and his first attempt at Powerman. Rachel is the 2001 amateur
champion, but returns to Tennessee as a competitor in the professional
field.
