Hypercat athletes Ray Peveri (Peabody, MA) and
Daniel Crowley (Northbridge, MA) opened their
racing seasons with the Wrentham Duathlon on 4/28.

Faced with cool temperatures in the low 40's, winds and rain, both athletes toughed it out on this 3mile run/11 mile bike/2 mile run duathlon.

Although the weather was less than ideal, both Ray and Dan were well-prepared being accustomed to the harsh weather that New Englanders are all too familiar with.

Ray completed the race in 1:15:46 and Dan stormed home in 1:25:57.  Ray is preparing to race a season of triathlons including is focus race, Ironman USA in Lake Placid. Dan travels next to College Grove, TN for his first Powerman race.
