Hypercat Racing welcomes Dov Sharon!
Dov Sharon will be preparing for a full schedule of triathlons in
2005.
Among the races on his schedule, the ever popular Half-Vineman Half-Ironman
and the Uvas South Bay Triathlon. Dov completed his first triathlon at
the Treasure Island Sprint Triathlon in November.
He will be working with Coach Rachel.
The Hypercat Racing Cycling team now has its own home in cyberspace.
www.hypercat.org is the future home
of the cycling cats.

In muddy, rainy conditions, the LW XC team commanded the 3.1 mile
course at Woodward Park in Fresno, to secure a 7th place team finish.
Lead by senior captain, Anna Gil, the Tigers had a 14 second gap between
runners 1-4 and a :53 gap between 1-5. The Lick girls had the best one
through five spread in the state for Division 5 girls. The team's 7th
place finish is a noticeable improvement from their 13th place finish in
2003. The Tigers are coached by Head Coaches Rachel Sears and Jeff
Gardiner. Assistant Coach is Lillian Gardiner.

The LW girls are on their way to Fresno for the California State Cross
Country Championships. Lead by freshman, Julia Borelli, the tigers
finished 3rd in the North Coast Section Championships. The tigers
earned the honor of competing at the state meet on November 27th
at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA.

Congratulations to Hypercat Lisa Scott for successfully completing
her first triathlon. Lisa finished 9th in the F25-29 age group and posted
the 2nd fastest bike split in her age group. Lisa is now training
for a season full of triathlons in 2005.
*Lick Wilmerding XC shines at BCL Championships.
The LW JV girls Cross Country team takes the league championship title.
Sarah Prensky-Pomeranz lead the way for the Tigers with her 2nd place
finish.
The varsity girls placed 2nd and the varsity boys placed 4th.
